Thursday 8th February For stuff today after the cast list had came out, we all met up in the black box room and got our scripts handed to us so we could start working on going through lines. Today was just the read through, so I decided to read ahead as AJ doesn't come into it until after quite a few pages. I noted that when he does come into the show though he doesn't leave once and he has a lot of lines dotted around and a big duologue with Matt when they're having their moment.  Originally I was going to audition for the role of Matt and AJ, but when practising the audition piece with people, I wasn't a fan of how I portrayed Matt and enjoyed AJ much more as a character. I feel like I haven't played your stereotypical troublesome child whose lost and just looking for a quick shag.  Monday 5th February For my audition I went in alone to start off since it was callback day but I was sick on the day when the first round of auditions were done. When I went into the audition I grabbed a chair and made the scene on how I visioned it. I went through my lines adding a bit of flair to the character when he talks about himself. I also noted to myself that when AJ is talking to Matt his love language for Matt is either when he swears at him, so I do it in a soft but awkward jokey tone, but also when he's taking the mick out of Matt to annoy him.
