 In Peter Pan the part I had been given was the role of John Darling. I was also a given the choice if I wanted to be a pirate or lost boy as part of ensemble I chose to take on the role of a lost boy for ensemble. John Darling For John this was an added challenge from last year as Tinman because it was less of a mature character. I have played more mature characters than child like characters that are very expressive, and bouncy. To show this I just made sure I was always smiling and always showing that my character was having fun when it was needed by doing big facial expressions. It was also an added challenge due to the singing aspect I never thought I would have to sing when joining this course. Assignment 2: Task 1 - Wizard of Oz Audition Process

Monday 7th November 2022 - Auditions Today were the auditions for Wizard of Oz, I had chosen to audition mainly for the Tinman, but I also chose the lion for my backup audition. My Tinman audition was at 12.15am and I had already learnt the lines over the weekend I was just struggling with the Tinman's movement and was conflicted with how I should deliver my lines. Before my audition I helped other people practice their roles but then also focused on trying to see how much of the lion I could learn before I had that audition. My audition for Tinman came along and I went with in the room with a smile on my face and I was a tad nervous. I got asked why I had gone for the role, to which I answered with a stutter because I was nervous, my answer was 'The Tinman was the one I remember most from the film and the one I had more interest in altogether.' Candidate Declaration - I confirm that the attached portfolio is all my own work and does not include any work completed by anyone other than myself. Full Year Evaluation I still remember from when I first joined and I was quiet and nervous to get myself involved in some of the warm-ups never mind thinking about auditioning for shows. At first I didn't this life was for me due to everyone seeming to fit in easier and comfortable whereas it took me a while since I had never, even done a show before or performed infront of 100s of people.
