Stuff Auditions/My Character
Originally I was going to audition for the role of Matt and AJ, but when practising the audition piece with people, I wasn't a fan of how I portrayed Matt and enjoyed AJ much more as a character. I feel like I haven't played your stereotypical troublesome child whose lost and just looking for a quick shag. Monday 5th February For my audition I went in alone to start off since it was callback day but I was sick on the day when the first round of auditions were done. When I went into the audition I grabbed a chair and made the scene on how I visioned it. I went through my lines adding a bit of flair to the character when he talks about himself. I also noted to myself that when AJ is talking to Matt his love language for Matt is either when he swears at him, so I do it in a soft but awkward jokey tone, but also when he's taking the mick out of Matt to annoy him.
