Football Till I Die Film

'Football till I die' is a mockumentary in the style of the office following a manager of the worst team in the league 'Stockton FC'. It is the final game of the season and they haven't won a single game so far, so the manager tells his team at half time that he is going to be leaving which gives the team (full of wacky individuals) the motivation they need to overcome and win there first game. 

In tis film I had been told by Kelly that Kane had his eye on wanting me to be in the film, which I said I would be ok with. I had been given the role of Chris who is part of a trio called the three stooges, who are the midfielders of the team. The other two stooges are played by Jack (who is Ben) and Aiden (who is Alan). Everything we do is over the top but to the point where its funny and not annoying to watch. My costume for this film was black shorts and a red football top with the number 4 on the back and the name Chris. 

Thursday 11th May

Today we had to be in for 11:00am where we would be filming in the changing rooms doing our introduction interview. Jamie was supposed to be Alan but due to him not realising what time he had to be in we had to try and find someone who was already in the film on the opposing team to play him, which was when we got Aiden to do it. Out of the trio Chris is the smarter of them, but they're all very stupid nonetheless. We start off with directing my name towards the camera where I got to introduce us as the midfield of the team only to get cut off by Aiden and Jack who shout 'the three stooges'. Chris gets embarrassed and angry by this and tells them to behave and explains that we are an 'utter disaster' which Alan agrees with and Ben doesn't. 

Friday 12th May

This was one the funniest shoots I have ever had the pleasure of being on, due to all the accidental fails the silliness of the characters and just the way the script is written to make everything over the top and funny. We filmed all the out door scenes for the film, like both half's of the match, the two fans reacting to us walking out and then fighting each other. The players training where Mark (who played the manager) would introduce the people behind the camera interviewing him showing off his team praising how good we then the camera pans over to us failing or fighting or doing something stupid like when Aiden kicks the ball and falls over it. 

Monday 15th May

This was the last filming day and it was the team meeting before and during half time in the changing rooms. It started off with the manager coming in and giving us a plan of action on the white board but he ends up drawing it looking like a penis which the bouncer who is the goal keeper (played by Morgan) reacts to and we all need to hold back our laughs but make it obvious that were listening to what's being said. At half time we do a walk in of us all upset and angry since were losing and this is when we hear the news that the manager is going to be leaving after this game so we get the motivation we need to get out there and win it. There is also a scene where the keeper has said something to Napoleon (played by La Toya) who loses her temper and tries to attack him so the three stooges try and stop her and the manager shouts at us and she then headbutts Jack.
